In 2009, Kali was chosen as a Fellow of the Oregon State Bar Leadership College. As an Advisory Board Member of the Leadership College, I observed that she already had a strong understanding of what it takes to be a leader, and not just any kind of leader, but a mindful one. Through her coaching and teaching, Kali is a pioneer and role model in her efforts to introduce and encourage mindfulness in the legal profession.
